8th World Freediving Championship

The 8th World Freediving Championship began on Thursday, October 3, and will run until October 12 in Kalamata, with the participation of 145 athletes from 44 countries.

Top freediving athletes will test their endurance limits by diving on a single breath into the clear waters of the Messinian Gulf. Kalamata was chosen for this prestigious global event due to its ideal climate conditions.
