Bläuel Greek Organic Products is located in the southern Peloponnese in Mani, south of Kalamata. Fritz and Burgi Bläuel came to Mani in the late 1970s in search of an alternative way of life. They soon began to create an organic farming program together with local olive growers and millers. With entrepreneurial vision, respect for the people and the cultural landscape of Mani, along with a lot of effort and enthusiasm, they managed to effectively communicate the benefits of organic farming and related market opportunities to farmers, gradually gaining their cooperation and support. Thus, Bläuel managed to become the market leader of organic olive products in Germany and Austria and also exports its branded products or PL products to Switzerland, France, UK, Denmark, USA, China, Japan, Kuwait, etc. The same spirit drives the next generation of the Bläuel company: Felix and Julia Bläuel are now at the helm of the company and actively intend to develop their parents’ life’s work with modern ecological and sustainable strategies. The MANI brand offers a wide range of organic Greek specialties: extra virgin olive oils, olives and appetizers, excellent ingredients that form the basis of authentic Mediterranean cuisine.
At our facilities visitors can discover the varied flavors of olive oil through a professional tasting experience. They will have the opportunity to learn about olive oil production and see our production process from our specially designed visitor gallery. The MANI factory is located near Pyrgos, at the foot of Taygetos. The newly opened olive oil and olive bottling plant is the perfect way to learn about two of the main ingredients of the Mediterranean diet: olive oil and olives. As a pioneer in organic production, MANI has been producing olive oil for over 40 years and we are happy to share our knowledge. Our production is focused on the main products of the region – first-class MANI olive oil, delicious olives and a variety of Greek delicacies.
