Municipal Regional Theatre of Kalamata
Since its founding in 1984, the Municipal Regional Theatre of Kalamata (ΔΗΠΕΘΕΚ) has maintained two stages, presenting plays from both Greek and international dramaturgy, as well as performances for children. The establishment of ΔΗΠΕΘΕΚ played a crucial role in the development and enhancement of the theatrical and cultural life of the city and the wider region. The Main Stage is housed in a renovated former power plant building, while the New Stage is located in the amphitheater of the Municipal Philharmonic building. Today, both stages operate under the auspices of the Kalamata Municipality’s Cultural Organization “FARIS.”
